I was worried about how I'd get from the airport to the hotel, but everyone convinced me that there are usually a lot of taxis at the airport and there is no need to be nervous about it. Actually, I did just that and took a taxi right there. Then I checked that it turns out that I paid almost 1.5 times more. Everything went well and safely, but to be honest I'm upset that I paid so much.

This is true, but now there are excellent options on how to get from the airport quickly and safely, but without overpaying. I recommend learning more about AtoB Transfer, for example, get to your destination in Helsinki. On the website you can immediately find all the details, prices and book a taxi in advance, which in my opinion is very convenient so as not to deal with this issue upon arrival.
